Finally got it home!
Looks like I'm going to have to clear some space in the garage!
I'm sure there's some work surface under there!
A quick assembly of the crankcase and cylinders, just for show. Got to stand it on the bin until I clear some space.
A search on the internet had identified the frame as a GT250M from 1975 with the engine being a GT250B from 1977/78.
My original bike was a silver 1976 GT250A and sice there are quite a few appropriate parts it seems sensible to rebuild it as an "A".
Need to work out some sort of plan but this weekend should see an inventory of all parts and hopefully a test rebuild of the engine to see what might be missing and perhaps a little bit of cleaning of the carnkcasecovers wouldn't do any harm. WSB at Donnington on Sunday so time will be a bit limited.

New Home
Below is a picture of the bike being transported. It's useful to know you can get a GT250 into a Touran by just taking the handlebars off.
